I think things are getting a little easier. Wait. Did I just type that? Anyway, the angel is sleeping 6 to 61/2 hours each night now. It's wonderful.
We're working on a little schedule. I hope it takes.
She's around 11 lbs. now, and chubbing up pretty good. I love it. I love those little chunks under her neck and her little thighs!! Who gets tired of that?
She still wants to eat about every 2 hours during the day. That is a bit exhausting, but whatever makes her happy.
The LONG beach weekend was awesome. I cannot wait to get back down there. It really is so nice to have all the fam around. And also, to have help during the day with the little one. I came home so refreshed. And it didn't hurt that the weather was absolutely PERFECT, (sunny, breezy and low 80's!!)
This is mom's last week of school for the summer and I am counting down the days. We're gonna have a great time this summer. She's such a baby person, and Maren crying or whatever does not frazzle her in the least. GOOD TO HAVE AROUND! Not just for that, but it IS wonderful for me!
Kathy & Al came over last night to eat supper and see Maren. We had a good time. I still wish they were here even more. Kathy is also a bit of a Maren fan!!
I am FINALLY getting my hair done tonight. It has been 2 1/2 months. Too long, if you were wondering. I have been starting to look like frump mom big time.
6-week checkup for me tomorrow, photo portrait session for our fam wed., and who knows what else. It's nice to have things to look forward to. Just getting out of the house is an adventure lately!
Mom got us a reclining glider chair from Baby Furniture Plus for my birthday. Maren loves rocking and we love reclining, so perfect fit! It'll be 4 weeks until it arrives, since we got to pick the fabric. Another thing to look forward to. THANKS SO MUCH, MAMA!!!
Another BIG BIG thanks to Kathy and AL for our United Healthcare. We got the hospital bill and it is SO do-able. What a financial relief!!
Our den is getting a makeover, but not sure when. I'll update about that later.
O'Hara sold his 4-wheeler. Except the guy wrote a fraudulent cashiers check, so actually, the guy ripped us off and stole our 4-wheeler. $4700. Insurance will only pay $3000 (due to $1000 deductible.) So that's real sucky, but atleast it was insured. Why do people steal like that? We need the money, too, brother! Why do you think we were selling the dang thing in the first place!
So, that was a big mess last week.
But I'm still in a good mood due to the occasional glass of wine and my sweet baby giving ME the gift of night-time sleep!
Later skaters!
